Elsen Tasarkhai (Sand Dune Mini Gobi)
At Elsen Tasarkhai (the Mini Gobi Sand Dunes), you’ll immerse yourself in authentic nomadic life while enjoying the unique landscape of the semi-Gobi. We begin the morning with an early departure, followed by a scenic break for snacks, coffee, or tea. Upon arrival, you’ll meet a local family who will introduce you to traditional nomadic customs. You will then experience a camel or horse ride across the dunes, guided by the hosts. Afterwards, enjoy a traditional Mongolian lunch. The afternoon continues with time to wander the area and hike on the sand dunes. After a memorable day in the Mini Gobi, we drive back to Ulaanbaatar with additional snacks provided on the way.
