FindMyGuides is a platform of collaborative tourism which proposes the organization of abroad personalized and private tours with a local guide. We are present in about 80 destinations all around the world and give tours in English, French, Spanish and Italian. We have a simple offer that actually helps the travelers book a local guide for a personalized tour.
You can book directly via the platform by selecting the tour of your choice as well as the option of your choice. You can confirm your reservation by credit card or PayPal. You can also send us a request describing your wishes in order to take your reservation manually: email@example.com
If you already know your dates you can book online via this link to ensure the availability of a local guide for the desired date. After your reservation, we organize our planning and we put you in contact with the guide as soon as possible (48 hours max) so that you can organize your visit with him/her.
To modify your reservation, please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or via LiveChat.
You can check your booking online via your account and then you can contact your local guide through the platform to confirm and personalize with him or her the last details of your tour ! A notification email will be sent to you when the status of your reservation changes.
In order to guarantee your total satisfaction we will send an email with a survey at the end of the visit so that you can share your opinion about your experience with Guydeez.
Payment and cancellations
We have a limited number of local guides and to ensure the availability of a guide for the desired date you must pay the full amount directly. Our platform holds the amount until the service is successfully completed.
You can pay by Credit Card (Amex, Visa, Mastercard) and PayPal. Payment by bank transfer is also available but it is necessary to contact our team to make your request email@example.com
You can view your invoice online by logging into your account section "My bookings".
Although this is an extremely rare case, if your local guide cancels the tour initially planned we will contact you to propose several options and alternatives. We can offer you a replacement, a tour on another date or another option. In the case that the options offered do not suit you, you will be refunded the full amount paid for the tour.
We invite you to consult our General Terms and Conditions. If you wish to cancel your tour, please note that you can cancel up to 7 days before the first tour date to obtain a 100% refund of the amount paid. In case of cancellation between 7 days and 48 hours before the date of the first tour you will receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid. In case of cancellation within 48 hours before the tour date there is no refund possible.
Our local guides are passionate about their city, but they are not licensed tour guides. Our local guides will show you an authentic point of view of the city and help you get to know the area, find the best places to eat and find hidden gems! They will also be happy to show you the different districts of the city while telling you about legends and historical anecdotes.
Yes, we are the specialists of private and personalized tours. Although you can choose a tour with an itinerary already planned through our platform you still have the possibility to customize your tour when you are in contact with your guide before your tour. Your local guide will be pleased to listen to all your wishes and desires in order to offer you an unforgettable experience.
All the paid entrance fees for you and your guide are not included in the service. Our team or your local guide can send you the links to take the tickets in advance so that you can enjoy the best rates. The tickets remain at your expense as well as your transportation unless you choose the options "Guide with car" or ‘’Bike Tour" . During the one-day tours, if you intend to go to the restaurant with your guide, the meal of the local guide is also at your expense.
If you wish to extend the hours of tours or days it is important to send a request to Guydeez. On the other hand, during the tour it is important to respect the planned schedules.
It is important to confirm the meeting place with your local guide when connecting. The appointment can be made at your hotel (or at your location), at the port or at a railway station or at another place that you will have previously determined with your guide.

In this case it is important to contact your guide by email or phone in order to quickly find a solution with him/her.
Please wait 15 minutes for the local guide. There could be a number of reasons why he/she might be late. Most of the time, they are waiting for you but just can’t find you. If you are concerned, please contact the local guide directly with the number we provided. If you’re late, the Local guide will wait 30 minutes for you but please try to be on time for your tour. We cannot guarantee that the local will be able to make up for the lost time. If you are lost and cannot find the meeting location, contact the local guide and they will try to steer you in the right direction.
It depends on the destination, you can see if we have guides with car available directly on our website. If you have any doubts, do not hesitate in contacting us.
There are no rules about this, you remain free to tip the person of your choice at the end of the tour according to your satisfaction.

Our local guides are carefully selected by our team according to their skills: Linguistic, cultural, societal, historical.
